Steering Committee

The Steering Committee appointed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia governs HZMO. Its Statute determines HZMO scope of work, authorities and responsibilities. The Steering Committee has nine members nominated for a four-year term. At its sessions, the Steering Committee engages in the activities from the scope of its work.  The Rules of Procedure of the Steering Committee regulate the model of the Steering Committee’s work, decision-making procedures and announcements to the public.

Publicness of Work

The publicness of work of the HZMO Steering Committee is the outcome of the publishing of the agendas of HZMO sessions, adopted conclusions, documents and acts.  Also, the publicness of work is achieved by opening HZMO sessions to the public if topics are of public concern (annual work plan, financial plan, annual work and operations report and on financial operations, etc.).
Notice about the dates of the sessions that are open to the public is available three days before the scheduled session at the latest. A maximum of five registered persons may attend the public sessions, upon prior registration to the e-mail address sjednice@mirovinsko.hr. The admissions are according to the order of registration (the first five registered applicants). Thus registered participants are not allowed to participate in the discussion and vote. The application for a session should state the name and surname, ID card number (or passport number) and the date and place of issue.
